The Problem with DEI
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is a liberal Democrat plan that lowers standards and places individuals in positions where they may not be the most qualified. This approach sacrifices merit and competence for political appeasement, giving special privileges to some while discriminating against others.
This is particularly alarming in fields like medicine, where competence is literally a matter of life and death. Imagine being on the operating table—would you want the most skilled surgeon or someone who was advanced due to DEI quotas? Common sense should dictate the answer. Yet the Democrat Party insists on pushing this harmful agenda, prioritizing votes and power over the well-being of Americans.
Equal Opportunity vs. Equal Results
Republicans stand for Equal Opportunity—a chance for everyone to succeed through hard work and determination. Democrats, however, push for Equal Results, which undermines merit and creates entitlement rather than achievement.
The Democratic Party’s focus on “Diversity” is not about uplifting everyone but rather appeasing Black voters for political gain. This has been their strategy since LBJ, who reportedly revealed his intention to secure the Black vote through manipulative policies. Democrats repeatedly invoke the term “oppression” as a justification for poor behavior—riots, looting, and a lack of accountability in education and communities. This narrative fosters division, resentment, and excuses instead of solutions.
Looking in the Mirror
It’s time for all Americans, regardless of background, to take a hard look in the mirror. Ask yourself:
- Am I working as hard as I can?
- Do I respect others?
- Am I striving to improve myself and my community?
By setting high expectations, practicing good manners, and respecting authority, we can move beyond excuses and achieve real progress.
The Role of Leaders and Race Baiters
Figures like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, who claim to champion racial equality, have failed to address the root issues plaguing our cities. They remain silent on critical topics like:
- Honesty
- Crime
- Drugs
- The absence of fathers
- Respect for authority
Instead, these “leaders” focus on perpetuating division and their own power. Their unwillingness to engage with real issues exposes them as opportunistic and insincere.
Motivation: The Key to Success
Motivation is essential to success. At America Together Coalition, we emphasize:
- Hard work
- Strong ethics
- Genuine praise
Encourage those around you to strive for greatness, whether inside or outside your immediate circle. Offer sincere compliments and motivate others to excel in their fields. False praise does no good; instead, inspire people to reach their true potential.
