Pastor Brooks lived on a roof in Chicago for over 300 days, to raise money for a Community center in S. Chicago. Not for the government but for the people. He stresses character and education.

BCI Packaging
BCI Packaging is a for-purpose contract packager of consumer-ready goods that employs approximately 250 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of Boone Center, Inc., our mission is to inspire and support these individuals, challenging their personal growth and development through a continuum of innovative employment opportunities. This commitment keeps us moving in many directions and requires a talented and varied team.

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a U.S. nonprofit organization founded in 2003 to support military service members and veterans who were wounded or became ill during their service, particularly after the events of September 11, 2001. Its mission is to honor and empower these veterans by providing free programs that address mental health, physical wellness, long-term rehabilitative needs, career readiness, and assistance navigating VA benefits. The organization also offers support to families and caregivers who play a vital role in a veteran’s recovery.
WWP is known for its holistic approach, focusing on mental and emotional healing just as much as physical rehabilitation. Through initiatives like the Warrior Care Network, peer support programs, and advocacy efforts, the organization works to reduce veteran isolation, expand access to high-quality treatment, and influence legislation that benefits wounded service members. All services are provided at no cost to veterans, with the goal of helping them rebuild confidence, find community, and improve their overall quality of life.
