One of the greatest problems facing the world today—and especially the United States—is the absence of truth-tellers, a collapse in personal character, and a shocking lack of respect for others.
We are living in serious, even dangerous times. Our political landscape is filled with leaders more interested in manipulating the public than serving them. Lies have become routine. Personal attacks have replaced real debate. And worst of all, many Americans are falling for it.
Here at home, we have a man running the country like a dictator while his supporters cheer him on from the sidelines—devoted, corralled, and unwilling to question a thing.
Meanwhile, actual dictators abroad silence dissent, disappear their critics, and control the narrative through state-run media. This is the model Donald Trump admires. And during his recent trip to the Middle East, he basked in the pageantry and praise of authoritarian regimes. These are not leaders who should be admired—they are oppressors of their people.
Yet far too many American voters ignore facts and refuse to question what they’re told. They shout down opposing views, mistake loyalty for truth, and wear blinders while claiming to be informed. It’s a dangerous kind of ignorance.
And what of the Republican Party? Spineless. Many elected Republicans once criticized Trump for his behavior—his lies, name-calling, and recklessness. But now? They bow down. They say nothing. They fear being “primaried” more than they fear losing their integrity. Their silence is cowardice.
I officially left the Republican Party on March 1, 2025, because it no longer stands for conservative values. It’s been hijacked by MAGA loyalists—people who would jump off a cliff if Trump told them to, mimicking his every word like a cult. They follow a man who is the very opposite of what a leader should be: dishonest, egotistical, lacking moral character, and a terrible role model for the next generation.
The Middle East remains a volatile region, led by dictators who suppress freedom and deny truth. Yet Trump praises them, because he admires control more than liberty. That should concern every American.
Lying has become a governing tactic—not just here, but globally. The people in power spin and deceive without shame. One has to wonder how they look in the mirror and sleep at night.
But let’s be clear: Donald Trump is the central force behind the division in America today. He has led a movement built on deception, fear, and the shredding of democratic norms.

Donald Trump’s record is a case study in dishonesty, chaos, and destructive leadership.
If you take only one message from this: research from multiple sources. Don’t rely on one news outlet or one political voice. Both sides of the media spin stories for ratings. But if you’re willing to seek the truth—really seek it—you’ll find a clearer picture.
Most Americans don’t want to dive deep into politics. That’s understandable. But find someone willing to call out both sides when they cross the line. That’s what we do at America Together Coalition. It’s what makes us different. It’s what makes us necessary.
It’s time to demand truth, character, and courage—from our leaders and from ourselves.
